The 5^th The University of Hong Kong – Peking University Chinese Medicine and Integrative Medicine Summit cum HKUMed Centre of Integrative Medicine Plaque Unveiling Ceremony organized by School of Chinese Medicine, The University of Hong Kong and Institute of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, Peking University Health Science Center, Peking University was held on 28 June 2025. The Plaque Unveiling Ceremony for the Centre of Integrative Medicine was officiated by Professor Lau Chak Sing, Vice-President & Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health) and Dean of the LKS Faculty of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong; Dr Fong Ho Ching, Edmund, Assistant Director of Health (Chinese Medicine), Department of Health, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Ms Lee Lynn, Deputy Director-General, Coordination Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong SAR and others. Fourteen experts and scholars from Peking University, the University of Hong Kong, and local professionals specializing in Chinese and Western medicine participated as speakers and panelists. They shared insights on the basic and clinical research of Chinese medicine and integrative medicine, discussed strategies for future development, and witnessed the establishment of the HKUMed Centre of Integrative Medicine.
